NEW !.......Midcounties Co-operative Community Fund

CFST are delighted to launch a brand new funding programme: The Midcounties Co-operative Community Fund.

Grants of up to £2,000 are available to community groups for projects which

- encourage community responsibility

- develop community capacity

- demonstrate Co-operative Values

Groups must have been members of Midcounties Co-operative for at least 3 months.

Applications for the first round of this programme must be recieved by 22nd July 2011, however there will be further rounds of funding available in 2012 and 2013.

Recent Sparkler Fund Grants.

The newly formed Bryn Y Castell Coppice Conservation Group intends to preserve the coppice for the community's enjoyment.

Their Sparkler Fund grant will pay for publicity and supplies for a clear up day which will be the starting point for community involvement.

Bridgnorth Community Radio, an internet based service, will soon be broadcasting on FM as Valley Radio. Their recent Sparkler Fund grant will help them publicise this exciting new venture.

DJs & Divas

Our fundraising charity ball this autumn was a fabulous night out and a huge success! Initial estimates suggest the total raised on this one evening could be as much as £12,000 from tickets sales, a fantastic charity auction and donations on the night.
